Billfiddle is a classically trained violinist, but now plays anything from jazz to blues to rock violin and scottish folk music...

You will find free violin music downloads in the music section by selecting the correct player and section within the player.  There are some improvisations on jazz standards, and my own compositions .

There are violin videos on the video page with violin lessons and violin masterclasses from great violin teachers.

You will find videos from Pinchas Zukerman and the great Hungarian violinist Kato Havas.

The Violin Lessons section is still being written! It will be complete with videos and exercises that will help to to improve your violin playing,  especially those of you who have been playing for a long time!

Latest album, Songs of War is a collection of 12 songs for violin, all composed by William Stewart.

Billfiddle is currently working on a new solo CD of his own compositions, with some tracks using the electric violin. Have a listen to the demos on the music page!
